About Chaos Theory
The F.a.q.
What Is Chaos Theory?
Well, aside from
the widely known theory of a butterfly in Japan, 'Chaos
Theory' is a Graphic Novel/Comic Book Series being developed by A. &
K (see below).
What Is 'Chaos Theory'
About? A lot of
things, actually. It's about human nature, the frailty of the earth, the
differences none of us take into account every day, it's-.. ..You aren't
listening, are you? It has robots. And giant squid demons.
And Non-Angst-Ridden Vampires! Oh yeah. You heard me. Where else are you
going to find robots and giant squid demons mingling with non-angst-ridden
vampires? ...Nowhere, that's where! Put down Google right now.
Where
is it set? Is that New York/Tokyo/London? No,
no, no and Somewhere. It's actually set in a city created (after a few
backbreaking days on the drawing board) by the author and artist themselves.
It's a mix of metropolitan highrises, artsty taverns, high-tech land bridges
and ocean views with a 1920's and 30's inspiration thrown in just for
good measure.
Okay,
so what kind of genre is it? It's!
..Life-genre? I suppose that's the best way to describe it. It's not exactly
horror, as you can't have straight-forward horror when one of the characters
is doing a little happy monkey dance in the background. It's also not
all humorous, as it's set when a giant squid demon (see, I don't lie)
is trying to kill everyone, and has a good shot of it. What Do You Want
From Me!
I
like Edward. ..That's
not a question.
Who
Are You..? Well,
currently, I am the voice reading this inside of your head. On a deeper
level however, the creators of 'Chaos Theory' are A. & K.. You can
find their livejournal link just below this F.A.Q., as well as their E-Mail,
so that you may bother them endlessly with any more Questions you might
have.
Otherwise,
A. is the artist. All of the art on this webpage was toiled over day and
night by poor A., and A. also developed some of the characters and plotline.
A. enjoys spirals, long walks on sharp-rocked beaches, and tea.On the
other side of things, K. is the writer, and also developed some of the
characters and plotline, but is in charge of the majority of the stories
and what happens to all of the characters, because A. is dithery (and,
circumstantially, does the art already). K. enjoys old books, long walks
in foreign cities, and whiskey.
